Spiral Staircase 31
This was a large and complicated job, Bradfabs took the challenge of designing a spiral staircase with 3 exits landings, removing an old rotten wooden one all within a confined space.
The main issue here was that the yard area was too small for a crane so this had to be assembled on site in sections which added a considerable length of time to the time on site.
Each individual landing area was slightly larger than normal to give each tennant a bit of balcony.
The previous staircase was dangerously rotten and this new staircase has given a new lease of life to the flats. The tennants opted to keep the galvanized finished as it is lighter in colour and keep the darker yard area lighter in general.
