Our Response to COVID-19

Undoubtedly, COVID-19 has posed one of the most challenging obstacles that Bradfabs, and many businesses around the country, have had to face. Yet, our team has not let this disrupt one of our core principles - building intuitive steel fabrications through collaboration and partnership.

As such, we’d like to share with you some of the actions we’ve taken to ensure our business remains operational and our staff safe.

Our Staff

From the beginning, it was important for us to remain entirely open and transparent with our staff. Regarding furlough, we have furloughed where we can and has resulted in about 50% of staff - this is an opportunity for us to retain as much job security as possible during a period of uncertainty.

Additionally, all staff that are able to work from home are doing so. Staff that work manually on the shop floor have remained at work but we have taken measures, like adjusting working hours and number of staff present at one time, to ensure there is as little contact as possible.

Ultimately, the safety of our team is the most important consideration and should it have not been possible to keep them safe and the business open, we would have not remained operational.

Open for Business

Bradfabs has been fortunate in our circumstance of being able to continue to manufacture. As part of this, we have proudly been working on projects for the NHS, manufacturing steel work for modular buildings.

Despite this, there will undoubtedly be delays to work and we have maintained an entirely open line of communication with clients. We hope to soon see an end to what has been a difficult time for all of us. Until then, we are working hard to deliver high-quality products and bespoke designs around the country.
